Won Young Kim, MD, PhD

Dr. Won Young Kim is the professor of department of Emergency Medicine at the Asan Medical Center, Ulsan University school of Medicine. He graduated from Chosun University as MD (1998), Ulsan University as PhD (2004), Specialist in Emergency Medicine (2003), and Intensive Care Specialist (2009). Won Young Kim is Board member of the Korean Academy Society of Critical Care Medicine, the Korean Academy Society of Clinical Toxicology, the Korean Academy Society of Traumatology, and the Korean Academy Society of Emergency Medicine. He is the director of the Korean Society of Emergency Medicine, of the Korean Hypothermia Society (KORHN), Korean Cardiac Arrest Research Consortium (KoCARC) and of the Korean Shock Society (KoSS). He is also a distinguished member or consultant of many scientific committees and decision-making organizations dedicated to diagnosis, treatment, and research in the field of post-cardiac arrest care and shock management. Won Young Kim authored or co-authored more than 150 peer-reviewed papers.
