A case of persistent and recurrent ventricular fibrillation with successful resuscitation and good neurological outcome

Defibrillation is paramount in the management of cardiac arrest due to ventricular fibrillation (VF). We describe a case of cardiac arrest in a previously healthy man who made a complete recovery after a prolong cardiac arrest which required 24 defibrillations.
